Bring the entire family to experience the down-home fun you’ll find at the annual Floyd Livestock and County Fair on September 8-9, 2017.
FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 8
Kick off the weekend with an outdoor film night featuring the 1980’s classic, ‘Footloose’! Fitting with this year’s fair theme of ‘Come Dance With Us at the Fair’, this family-friendly film will no doubt have you on your feet. A dancing platform will be set-up in front of the main stage and we’re encouraging everyone to feel free to get up and dance during the film.
In addition to the outdoor film, the fair’s exhibit space will be open to the public that evening. Come check out all of the entries! Categories include a wide range of foods, photography, quilts, art and so much more.
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 9 10AM-4PM
Come celebrate Floyd County’s rich agricultural heritage! A midway of festive games and activities organized by local non-profit groups will take center stage at this year’s event. A variety of vendors will showcase local hand-crafted items throughout the day along with unique demonstrations. Plan on visiting the indoor barn facility to take in all of the wonderful exhibits that will be on display.
Attendees will enjoy a petting zoo, horseback rides, fun contests and more!
Live local music will take place throughout the day on the main stage in the venue’s beautiful natural amphitheater. So bring a lawn chair or blanket and plan on spending the entire day! The event is rain or shine. No pets.
