Join us for the second annual Miss Floyd County Fair Pageant on Saturday, August 26 at The Barn at Chantilly Farm in Floyd.
The inaugural pageant was such a success that organizers are looking forward to an even more exciting pageant in 2017.
Last year’s winner, Miss Floyd County Fair Kelsey Sapp, will hand off her crown to a deserving winner at this year’s pageant. In addition, the pageant will feature a choreographed group performance that will feature all of this year’s contestants.
Contestants will be judged in three categories: interview, platform and dress. Winners will be chosen in several different divisions with the overall winner going on to compete at the state level in the Miss Virginia Association of Fairs pageant.
The public is invited to attend and pageant start times will be announced soon.
For those interested in participating as a contestant in this year’s pageant, a series of pageant information sessions are available. Sessions will take place at The Barn at Chantilly Farm on May 11, June 15 and July 20.
Pageant participants will need to arrive earlier in the day on August 26. The public portion of the event will begin at noon.
Those with questions can email Pageant Director, Dee Wallace at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (540)745-2322.
Ticket purchases are non-refundable and most events take place rain or shine. We love our pets too, but due to insurance and a variety of other reasons we ask that you leave your pets at home when attending events at Chantilly Farm. Pets are allowed in camping areas, but must remain leashed at all times and may not enter the event area.
