Chantilly Farm has partnered with the Jacksonville Center for the Arts in Floyd on a new project entitled, Art Works for Us. The newly created program pairs local artists with venues in the area that agree to serve as exhibit spaces on a temporary basis.
The ‘Appalachian Totem Pole’ sculpture installed at Chantilly Farm recently was created by Floyd artist, Jayn Avery, and can be seen from Franklin Pike when passing by the main entrance to Chantilly Farm. The public is encouraged to stop by and see the new artwork and other outdoor installations can be found at other businesses throughout the county. The Jacksonville Center plans to create a brochure for visitors to the area that will highlight the various locations of art being installed. Those with questions about the Art Works for Us program can contact the Jacksonville Center at (540)745-2784.
