| Whether
you have a young horse that is just beginning his work, or a seasoned
horse moving up the levels, Chantilly Farm can help you achieve your
riding and training goals. We offer a quiet and safe atmosphere
conducive to learning and personal growth. Our training and lesson
programs are individualized to specifically meet the needs of our
clients. We welcome beginning to advanced riders and all types of
horses. We are
centrally located near a number of horse show facilities. In fact,
at least four facilities that regularly host dressage shows (both
recognized and schooling) are within an hour's drive from our farm.
Two very active USDF clubs, Alpha Dressage and Suncoast Dressage and
Combined Training, hold monthly meetings and regularly sponsor Dressage
Shows. Chantilly Farm works closely with each Club and have held
numerous clinics with visiting clinicians including Bent Jensen, Anne Gribbons
and Betsy Steiner. If you need a place to host a dressage clinic

Instructor, Trainer, and USDF Bronze Medalist, Jane Whitehurst-Sprecher pictured with her husband, Mark Sprecher |
|
| Five years ago, Jane began her dream of building Chantilly Farm. She retired from her teaching career in the public school system and focused solely on equine training and instructing. Over the past 25 years Jane has successfully began numerous young horses. She has also been instrumental in helping many adult horses that other trainers had given up on. She enjoys instructing all students ranging in age from seven to seventy. Her teaching is goal-oriented, working and overcoming one problem at a time to create a solid rider/horse relationship. Jane received her USDF Qualified Rider Award in 1992 and her USDF Bronze Medal in 1999. She is continuously enhancing her own education by riding in clinics, reading, and the daily revelations from riding a multitude of horses, Recently Jane took a trip to Germany to ride with Hans Biss for a two week training session Jane's next goal is to achieve her USDF Instructor Certificate and to earn her Silver Medal. She also looks forward to beginning her 4H group next fall with the help of Anna Urquhart. She works with multiple horse breeds and holds true to her philosophy to work with each horse and rider as individuals, meeting current goals and reaching for new ones. Jane holds a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership | |
